Step 01 Case Style

Here we will explain the three different types of case style options for your cabinets

FACE FRAME

Face frame, or “American style” cabinets, are a type of cabinet construction with a layer of trim around the edges of the face of the cabinet. Face frames are designed so that when the cabinet door is opened, the frame overlay conceals the inner corners of the cabinet box, creating a formal look.

FRAMELESS

Frameless cabinet construction is a style originally known mostly in Europe. They are also known as Euro-style, contemporary, or modern cabinets.

In this type of cabinet, there are no face frames. Instead, the doors and drawers rest directly across the edges of the cabinet boxes, and the door hinges are anchored to the side walls of the cabinets, often mortised into the side walls as hidden hinges.

INSET

Inset kitchen cabinets are cabinets where doors and drawers fit inside the cabinet frame or are “inset” making them flush. The cabinet frame is exposed with a very minimal gap between the cabinet frame and door offering clean lines.
